Table Mountain, Cape Town
Table Mountain is one of the most vast and striking sights I have seen in any city. We stayed at the V & A waterfront because of its location in front of a perfect view of this great landscape. And what a view it was, whilst sitting back sipping on a glass of Pinotage.
So if its good from the bottom, the view from the top the is unreal and on a clear day the views are some of the best you could ever see. The view looks truly magical, so worth the visit.
It’s History
Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa. It is a significant attraction, with many visitors using the cable car or you can hike to the top. The mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park. It is part of the new 7 wonder of the world, and is unique in the fact it is the only urban listed one.
How To See It
So how did we see it? Because we had a spare whole day, we decided to do the hop on hop off bus. This was so worth the trip not only did we manage to see Table Mountain but the bus has so many other great sites and routes to see. Link is below
There is also an option to get to the to where you can take a cable car or hike to the highest point.
