Curtis Falls

Set in the tropical Mount Tamborine is Curtis Falls waterfall and the Curtis Falls walking track.

Mount Tamborine a short 40 minute drive from the center of the Gold Coast and has a number of tourist hotspots and is like a different world compared to the city therefore making it popular with tourists and locals.

The waterfall is situated between Eagle Heights and North Tamborine and consists of roughly 1 km round trip to the falls. With an elevation of 54 metres.

The walk down to the falls is a beautiful flowing track through lush rainforest with fallen logs and breathtaking views.

Note: As mentioned the track is elevated but not steep it suits most people apart from strollers and wheelchairs.

You may find Platypus , turtles and even the odd Brush Turkey on this trip.

At The Falls

Once you arrive at the falls, access into the falls and pools is restricted, however a viewing platform for a great angle and picture opportunity is available.

Tip: Set off early as it can be very busy and you may not get the right photo opportunity.

Curtis Falls

From the falls the stream of water runs off into the distance into the dense and beautiful Rainforest.

On your return to the car park there is a cafรฉ for you to refresh and ponder over your snaps.

Also a short drive to Eagle Heights where an abundance of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, winery and even a cheese and beer factory.
