Location
Situated on Cape Town’s trendy and upmarket area the V & A Waterfront. Just a short drive out from the city center, Harbour House Cape Town is certainly ideally located.
Exact location Quay Four, Ground Floor, V&A Waterfront
The Restaurant
Classy, and sophisticated look was certainly the look Harbour House was going for. Very modern look with all the finishes worthy of any top restaurant. Glass walls with views over the the impressive harbour.
The ambience was of the restaurant was beautiful, with soft lighting and undemanding music in the background.
The Menu
With it’s obvious close proximity to the harbour, it would be criminal for Harbour House not to serve the best seafood.
The menu complete with locally caught line fish, scallops, calamari and prawns. Fresh steaks and game meats also present throughout the menu. Most surprisingly was the impressive sushi menu something we hadn’t imagined in Cape Town. As the trip went on it seemed as that sushi was a common theme in this area.
Our Menu Choices
As lovers of sushi we opted for the sushi platter, and believe me the platter was delicious. The freshest fish I have ever tasted, homemade wasabi and pickled ginger. Washed down with a lovely bottle of local pinotage red wine brought us a tasty beautiful evening meal.

Summary
A great setting and a nd a perfect stop on this leg of our tour. We were delighted we made this visit and one we would certainly recommend to anyone and would like to return ourselves.

Looks like you had a lovely experience. I haven’t tried much sushi apart from what I have got in Tesco! Thank you for sharing your experience.
