Set in your typical Queenslander building, Daark Espresso, Gold Coast has grown from a tiny 6 table boutique coffee shop serving snacks, to a newly refurb establishment busy cafe. With the luxury of now dining in or out on the lavish wrap around deck looking out at the morning sun. Making Daark one of the best cafes Gold Coast has to offer.

Although set away from the city centers and the beach Daark is always buzzing with a strong following from the local area and far beyond.

Location

Located in the ever growing and trendy Chirn Park area of the northern end of the Gold Coast.

5 minutes drive from Southport and a 15 minute drive to Surfers Paradise.

The Food

The food at Daark does not disappoint, with there typical favourites like Persian feta and crushed avocado toast, sweetcorn and zucchini fritters to the more elaborate dishes like southern fried chicken waffles.

Classics like eggs on toast, breakfast rolls and bagels also grace this diverse menu, with lighter options like banana bread or date and apricot bread add a little extra.

Sweet treats from the cabinet are as delicious as they look, with guilty pleasures and even healthier options available.

Daark was one of the pioneers of the coffee scene on the Gold Coast, and were the ones that set the standard for everyone else to follow. With the choice now of a specifically picked single origin roast.
