Bam Bam Bakehouse
Firstly with a name like Bam Bam Bakehouse we knew it would be unique. And unique it is as it offers something a little different to most cafes on the Gold Coast.
Not only a great café, but with the added flair of a artisan style bakery with all baked goods and treats hand crafted and there is certainly no stone un turned here.
Bam Bam has grown dramatically since its 2015 opening, With local duo Ben and Ursula Watts who were the original founders of Paddock Bakery, which they sold in 2017. They have since grown the business and have added its sister venues Custard Canteen at Tallebudgera Creek and Cubby Bakehouse in the northern NSW town of Chinderah. At each venue, you’ll find epic handcrafted pastries, great coffee by Byron Bay’s Marvell Street and a menu of simple food, done well.

Bam Bam is not only a top cafe and bakery itself, but also throughout Queensland and that’s why it made our Best Cafe Gold Coast List. It is also somewhere that celebrity food critic Matt Preston often visits when in town to try the superb range of pastries and treats.
It is well worth picking up a treat here even for take away and enjoying on one of the Gold Coasts many beaches.
