Paddock Bakery
Paddock Bakery Insight
Paddock Bakery a small cafe / bakery that can boast a number just shy of 90,000 Instagram followers must be doing something right in the ever popular Gold Coast food scene.
A converted Queenslander building in a quiet back street in the suburb of Burleigh Heads, offers a perfect relaxed and homely feel. Built up from a derelict and overgrown site gives a great back story.
Location
Paddock Bakery is located in the suburb of Burleigh Heads on the southern end of the Gold Coast, tucked away just off the Gold Coast Highway, 5 min drive from the center of Burleigh Heads, and 20 minutes from the centre Surfers Paradise.
Paddock Bakery Menu
A wide selection of food graces the Paddock Bakery menu. With some favourites being there choice of bagels with smoked salmon and herb cream cheese or an open faced benedict bagel with choice of bagel, salmon or haloumi.
Or perhaps your after something a little different, then this twist on toad in the hole. Mini sourdough scotch loaves filled with fried eggs, bacon, avocado mash and chili sambal, we add chorizo for extra flavour. Not only is this a super hearty dish it’s super tasty as well.
Paddock really test the boundaries and my weakness to sweet things with a doughnut French Toast (yes you heard that right) cinnamon doughnut, filled with salted caramel and topped with spiced poached apple, chocolate and walnut crumble finished with vanilla bean ice cream. What could be better on the Paddock Bakery menu than this.

For the healthier conscious Acai fruit bowls and a quinoa bircher muesli are the go to items. The acai bowls are like little bowls of happiness, the great tasting variety and the enticing presentation make them a must.
Get to the till and your be indulged with a cabinet of baked goods to tempt yourself but be warned you may come back with more than one.
They can also boast great coffee with specialty roasts and blends, a great accompaniment to all the gorgeous treats and patisseries on show.

That doughnot French toast, man…. I’d also love to try the mini sourdough scotch loaves filled with fried eggs, bacon, avocado mash and chili sambal and I don’t see why I wouldn’t add some chorizo too tehe…
