Taking Vegan food to new heights is the Cardamon Pod on the Gold Coast Bright, energised and flavourome food, for someone who is non vegan my most visited cafe in the last few years was the Cardamon pod.
Opened in 2016 Cardamon Pod has become a popular spot for delicious plant based food and a place for the that insta worthy snap with the colourful elaborate plating of food.
A driving force iñ the Vegan dining scene on the Gold Coast attracting crowds from far away.
Location
Ĺocated at the back of the trendy Ferry Road Markets, in Southport.
5 minute drive to Southport Central and 10 minutes to the center of Surfers Paradise.
The Food
One must try is the Indian Dosa, this homemade Dosa with spiced potatoes is to die for. Another favourite would be the vege big breakfast, packed full of goodness, I love the peanut fritters on here and the amount its absolutely huge.
Cardoman Pod is also renowned for its elaborate range of acai bowls which taste amazing and are certainly picture perfect a favourite would be, well all of them.
Vegan treats line the front counter with tempting cakes, slices and energy balls. You wouldn’t believe they were guilt free.

As mentioned Cardamon Pod was one of the first plant based establishments to really take off on the Gold Coast. And is enjoying every success.
