Opened in 2014 Edgewater quickly became a premium destination for quality dining on the Gold Coast. With it’s river views onto the city, fine food and extensive cocktail list, it wasn’t long before it became a busy spot.

It’s a great mix of a formal set up, without being over the top and still having a casual feel about it, making it a very relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Located in the residential area of the Isle Of Capri one of many neighbouring suburbs of Surfers paradise. It takes river side placement in the Via Roma on Capri Centre. Edgewater is one of many Isle Of Capri restaurants that have popped up over the last few years in this location.

The Food

The food and drink delivers to, more of a formal dining experience than the share plate theme the Gold Coast adopts. With a grand open kitchen and team of experienced chefs on hand. Edgewater prides itself on quality food all produced homemade on site. Employer one of the best teams of experienced chefs around.

With a great selection of menu items like lemon pepper calamari and pork tacos to start and sticky pork belly and grass fed eye fillet for mains. Note: the calamari is some of the best we have ever had, crispy juicy and packed full of flavour.

The Eton Mess is a must and is a dessert Edgewater is known for and doing its just perfectly. Alternatively a liquid dessert in the form of a cocktail is also quite a tremendous idea. Our pick would be the selection of Espresso Martinis, with lots of different combinations to choose from.
