They have taken the pandemic head on and have not lied down, implementing a click and collect service and a deli shop during the day selling a selection of foods and take away snacks and all to the Oarsman standard as they know how.
Location
Located in the heart of Carrick on Shannon in County Leitrim, 10 minutes from Boyle and 30 minutes from Sligo.
The Food
The food at the the Oarsman differs from lunch to dinner at lunch gourmet sandwiches, juicy burgers and wraps. A favourite selection of ours is the Andarl Farm pulled pork burger juicy, succulent and packed with flavour. Even more impressive is the homemade brioche bun soft, springy and perfectly buttery.

The evenings at Oarsman certainly have a fancier feel with upmarket fine dining, with fancier food and artistic presentation. A firm favourite of ours was the pressed and slow cooked pork belly the respect given to the pork is certainly been shown. slow cooked, flavoursome and melt in the mouth.

Chicken wings at the Oarsman are also a hit although maybe not known for being a fine dining dish the flavour pumped into the wings and the blue cheese sauce are so tasty and like any good wing very moreish.
