Thunderbird Park
Thunderbird park is an adventure park and camping site on the highly popular Tamborine Mountain.
A great place to kids and well as your about to find out adults like us also.
Location
The Thunderbird park is situated on Tamborine Mountain about 40 minutes from either Brisbane or the Gold coast. and can be enjoyed either as a day tip of an overnight camping stay.
What’s At The Park
Thunderbird park has a whole lot of activities to enjoy, for all ages and abilities.
Treetop Challenge
The famous treetop challenge Australia’s largest, a obstacle course through the trees supported in a harness. Swing from tree to tree climb high, enjoy ziplines and much more. Courses ranging from easy to hard making it accessible to all.
The ultimate fun for both adult and child, a real adrenaline pumping adventure. I finished it and really wanted to go again and again.

Horse Riding
Take a horse ride through the rainforest and see the beauty Tamborine Mountain has to offer on the back of a horse. This is available for children and adults.
Mini Golf
it a whole lot of fun a great course which even has three levels. beginner, intermediate or professional.
Thunderegg Crystal Mine
You can find your own treasures from prehistoric volcanic lava in the largest thunder egg mine. Great fun for all the family
Camping and caravans
There are caravan, camping, bush lodges and bunkhouse (bunkhouse only for groups) to chose from and stay and make a few days of it with the family.
Rainforest Restaurant and Lounge Bar
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in this great setting a selection of share plate style food for you to enjoy.

The Terrace Kiosk
Serving healthy snacks, bites and pizzas great place for a break during the day to recharge and get you going again.
Is it worth it ??
It sure is we would certainly recommend, its great fun with the family or like we did went as a couple or even group and well we had the best time. Maybe me a bit more, but it really did bring us back to our childhood.
And now we have children ourselves would certainly take advantage of the facilities and stay.
Thanks for stopping by as always its been a pleasure sharing.
Tamborine Mountain where the park lies has so much going on, like Curtis Falls, Eagle Heights and the many many wineries around.
Thunderbird Park is a great day out and is a must, check out what Thunderbird offers
